Happy birthday to us

By July 4, 2016News

The Monkey House is always a busy, creative little place, but we plan to take a few moments out later this week to enjoy a refreshing cold beverage and celebrate a significant milestone.

Yes, it’s our fifth birthday, numero cinque, the Famous Five.  And what a lot we’ve managed to cram into this short time.  We have grown from a one-man-band-in-the-spare-room business (set up following a redundancy situation) to become one of the most respected marketing and web design agencies not just in Suffolk but in the region as a whole.

And seeing as we are talking numbers, here are some more:

Since our launch in 2011, we have worked for no less than 120 different clients, built 70 websites, developed 40 new logos and company identities and worked for clients in eight different countries including China. We have undertaken projects as varied as e-commerce, building signage, vehicle liveries, and video production. In addition, we have also grown a successful standalone SEO side to the company.

Birthdays are a good time for touch of nostalgia and looking back we have surprised ourselves at the wide variety of projects we have been involved in and the broad range of clients we have worked with from one man companies and new start-ups to multi-million pound businesses and household brands.

When we started out, we never thought we’d find ourselves doing things like working with children, conducting all-night photoshoots in various housing estates across London, spray painting props for video shoots in the car park after hours or choosing the colours for a soon-to-be-launched domestic paint range.

Clients who we have enjoyed working with include sport, manufacturing, engineering and accountancy businesses, as well as music schools, farms, and holiday parks and even other marketing agencies.

In short, it’s been a wonderful half-decade, full of surprises and new relationships. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried and we’ve grafted, but most of all we’ve enjoyed working with some truly amazing clients. Thank you for your custom – here’s to the next five years!!!!!!
